Bring the way your team works into the conversation.

Good people.
Important work.
Why does it keep getting stuck?

Ideas keep coming, but decisions don’t. A project gets everyone excited, then loses momentum. The same few people carry the work across the finish line.

Your team may be working hard without seeing how differently each person contributes—or where a needed kind of work is being missed.

Give your team a shared way to see what the work needs and who brings energy to it.

From understanding to application

Leave with a clearer way
to get work done together.

01

Know where people contribute best.

Understand the work that gives each person energy, the work they can do, and the work that drains them.

02

See what your team’s work is missing.

Look at your collective results to identify gaps, overlap, and where projects or handoffs need a different contribution.

03

Turn insight into team commitments.

Apply what you learn to real priorities, meetings, and projects. Agree on practical changes your team can put into action.

The Six Types of Working Genius

Every stage of work
needs a contribution.

Created by Patrick Lencioni and The Table Group, Working Genius describes six kinds of work. Your assessment identifies two areas of genius, two of competency, and two of frustration.

Ideation

W

Wonder

Notice an unmet need or opportunity.

I

Invention

Create a possible solution.

Activation

D

Discernment

Evaluate and refine the idea.

G

Galvanizing

Rally people to take action.

Implementation

E

Enablement

Provide the help the work needs.

T

Tenacity

Carry the work through to completion.

All six matter. The conversation is about how your team brings them together.

Before, during, and after

Built around your team’s work.

  1. 01 / Prepare

    Start with the sponsor.

We discuss your team, desired outcomes, and where work gets stuck. Participants complete the Working Genius assessment before the workshop.

  2. 02 / Work together

    Bring the results to life.

We explore individual and team patterns, then apply them to the priorities and challenges agreed on during preparation.

  3. 03 / Carry it forward

    Leave with commitments.

Your team agrees on next steps. A sponsor debrief or follow-up summary is provided where applicable. Additional follow-up sessions can be discussed separately.

Practical details

Before you
bring the team.

Are the workshops virtual?

Yes. Both published options are live virtual workshops. We agree on the video platform and participation details during preparation.

Is the assessment included?

Yes. The required Working Genius assessment is included for each registered participant. It takes about 10 minutes and should be completed before the workshop so we can use the results together.

Which workshop should we choose?

Choose two hours for a focused introduction, team understanding, and immediate commitments. Choose four hours when you want more time to examine your team map and apply it to workflows, meetings, and real challenges. We can help you choose during the sponsor conversation.

Can more than six people participate?

Yes. Each option includes up to six participants. Every additional participant is $250, including their assessment. We’ll discuss the group size and goals before confirming the engagement.

What materials do we receive?

Applicable worksheets, summaries, and workshop materials are provided digitally. Books are not included. Your team develops shared commitments or an action plan during the session.

Is this the same as personal coaching?

No. These workshops focus on your team’s work, collaboration, and application of Working Genius. Personal coaching is a separate engagement. The workshop inquiry below goes directly to us.

Let’s talk about your team

What could change if everyone
knew where they contribute best?

Tell us about your team, the work you want to move forward, and whether you’re considering a two- or four-hour session. We’ll discuss the fit and next steps with you.
